WHY IS IT WORTH GETTING TO KNOW CHI KUNG?
Our body is structured in such a way that its main pillar, and central axis is the spine. Due to a sedentary lifestyle, the mobility of our spine is restricted and it is mostly subjected to static load.
Eastern style of exercise, such as Chi Kung (QiGong, Csikung), Dao Yin (Tao Yin) attach great importance to our „heavenly pillar”.
They restore physical balance through coordinated movement and support the functioning of the energy pathways.
By regulating breathing, they calm the nervous system and quiet the mind’s racing thoughts.
Through regular practice of Chi Kung, you will regain your lost balance. The disbalance is the source of countless problems and diseases.
I warmly welcome you at my Dao Yin-based Chi Kung classes in Szeged!
You can join anytime!
I also conduct lectures, workshops, and practice sessions upon individual requests.
If you are interested, feel free to contact me!
LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF
My name is Dr. Judit Nóra Kovács, and I am a lawyer by university education.
I began studying Yang style Taiji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Qi Gong (Chi Kung) as a hobby in 1999, which provided me with physical and mental relaxation.
What started as a hobby became a serious interest, leading me to complete certifications at the Institute of Health Vocational and Further Education. I first qualified as an Alternative Movement and Massage Therapist, and later as an Acupressure Naturopath.
I was able to learn the traditional Chinese Tui Na acupoint massage and the least known Wai Tan Kung system within the framework of the training. I was able to take professional exams in front of well-known instructors in our country such as Dr. Ajándok Eőry and László Béky.
During the time that has passed since then, I have been able to get to know many Qi Gong systems and Chinese style of excercises and get skills in their application.
I completed Grandmaster Xu Mingtang’s Zhong Yuan Qigong level 1-3 internationally recognized courses. I was able to learn the basics of REIKI energy medicine within the framework of Dr. Mikao Usui – REIKI Association International.
I also gained insight into chinese martial arts such as Shen Dao, a health-oriented martial art, whose techniques work through the body’s natural movement and emphasize balance and fluidity.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to learn the teachings of masters such as: Yang Jwing-Ming, an internationally recognized Qi Gong and Yang-style Taiji master; Yip See Kit, internationally recognized Taiji master; Tao Yoga master Mantak Chia.
In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Far Eastern style of exercises, I have also been practicing yoga for many years.
In 2015, I obtained a Spine Yoga Instructor qualification at the Mandala Spine Yoga System Association, later I obtained a Yoga Alliance International Hatha Yoga Instructor diploma within the framework of the NitaYoga Academy Lifestyle Center and Yoga School, founded by Swami Vidyanand.
I have conducted individual and group Qi Gong and Yoga classes, courses, and numerous lectures and workshops on these topics in various studios.
ABOUT MY CLASSES
My Chi Kung classes have complex structure and follow the principles of Chinese Movement Therapy.
We always start the classes with a warm-up, then continue with spine chi kung exercises and dao yin movement elements.
There is usually a highlighted traditional exercise sequence that we go through thematically and learn during the session.
We conclude our practice with traditional meditation techniques.
If you cannot attend every class, don’t worry, because we study step by step and always review everything!
WHAT YOU WILL DEFINITELY STUDY AND PRACTICE IN MY CLASSES
CHI KUNG – KEY TO HEALTH
Chi kung helps you to break away from the non-stop thinking and stressing, and turns your attention inwards. So your mind relaxes, your muscles relax and your body’s energy system gradually balances. You can even prevent several diseases. The physical manifestation of diseases is always the final stage, they are present within us on an energetic level much earlier.
NEI KUNG – RELAXING INTERNAL POWER
here we can list the more well-known practices of the Taoist tradition, such as „Inner Smile” and „Six Healing Sounds”. A very important and unique element of nei kung is the flow of chi with the help of consciousness. Perhaps the most well-known such method is the Taoist meditation called „Little Celestial Circle”.
DAO YIN – GUARDIAN OF MOBILITY
This traditional Chinese spinal training helps to harmonize our energy centers and feeds the bones, tendons and fascia with chi.
